Chief Operating Officer, Viridios LLC
Ethan Moon graduated Cum Laude from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with a specialization in operations research. During his undergraduate career, Ethan worked closely with industrial sponsors through the Center for Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (CIMS) at WPI. This experience fostered an appreciation in Ethan for how academic ingenuity can affect industrial manufacturing processes. With a focus on microwave distribution, he has published four papers, including one which was accepted by the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer. After finishing his degree, Ethan moved onto working as a technical consultant for a successful software startup focused on enterprise product cost management for large scale manufacturers. Ethan's expertise in optimization has afforded him the opportunity to work with a multitude of companies to manage costs and reduce process waste. As COO of Viridios, Ethan has applied non-traditional optimization methodologies to the company's manufacturing processes. He has also applied the same optimization principles in his role developing the Viridios supercritical extraction platform.
